Twenty Years in the Making
In 2005, Pinnacle Mountain Homes was founded in the Colorado Rockies on a simple belief: that a custom home should be as exceptional as the life you'll live in it.
Twenty years and more than 120 homes later, that belief hasn't changed. The craftsmanship, the process, the relationships — all of it is now woven into Central Texas. Pinnacle Modern is how we build here.
Our History
Pinnacle Mountain Homes is founded.
One project. One belief: that homes — and the company behind them — could be built to last for generations. We started in Breckenridge, Colorado, and haven't looked back.
10 homes started in a single year.
During the depths of the Great Recession, Pinnacle started 10 homes — representing roughly a third of all new custom construction in our valley that year. Clients trusted us when it mattered most.
Named America's Best Builder.
The National Association of Home Builders recognized Pinnacle for exemplifying excellence, leadership, and reinventing the custom homebuilding experience. It remains one of our proudest milestones, chosen from over 60,000 builders in the country.
Pinnacle Lodging and VisitBreck launched.
We expanded into hospitality and property management — so the clients we built homes for could have the same level of care and attention long after move-in day.
Collective Design is founded.
Interior design and furnishings joined our family, completing the full arc of home ownership, from groundbreaking to a space that's fully, beautifully lived in.
Pinnacle Gives is formed.
We formalized what had always been part of our culture: giving back. Pinnacle Gives supports Education & Youth, Arts & Culture, the Environment, Immigration, and Healthy Communities — in every market we call home.
Collective Architecture launches.
Architecture, construction, interiors, furnishings, and property care — all under one roof. The full Pinnacle experience arrives, from concept to keys.
National recognition for business and culture.
Named one of Outside Magazine's Best Places to Work nationally and awarded the Inc. Magazine Best in Business honor. The kind of recognition that means something, because it's about the people — not just the product.
Twenty years.
Two decades of homes built, relationships earned, and a team culture we're genuinely proud of. And now, a new chapter in the Texas Hill Country.

Our Approach
We've spent twenty years learning that the best homes aren't just well-built, they're well-understood. Understanding how a family gathers. How light moves through a space in the afternoon. How a kitchen becomes the center of everything.
That's the work we do before the work begins. And it's why the homes we build don't just look right, they feel right. For the people who live in them, and for the land they sit on.

We come from different backgrounds and bring different skills to the table, but we're guided by the same standards: do the work right, be honest about what we're seeing, and treat every client relationship like it's built to last. Because it is.

Giving back has always been woven into how we operate — not as a program, but as a value. Pinnacle Gives was built to support the communities we live and work in, with a focus on efforts that reflect what we believe: that we're responsible to the places that shape us.
